How does a dropset pin precisely work?
Weight drops automatically as soon as you fail. This is how the PUMPSETZ dropset pin works, step by step.

What is a dropset?
You train a set to muscle failure, lower the weight immediately and keep going without rest until you fail again. The result: more muscle stimulus in less time.
More time under tension
Your muscles stay under load for longer. Those last heavy reps are exactly what trigger growth.
More volume, less time
Two or three sets in one. Ideal if you want to train efficiently without sacrificing intensity.
Beyond your plateau
A new stimulus for muscles that have got used to straight sets.
How PUMPSETZ dropset pins work
The PUMPSETZ is a self-ejecting pin. As soon as you let the weight rest, the pin pops out of the stack and only the lighter weight remains.
- 1 Put the regular selector pin in your last, lightest weight.
- 2 Put the PUMPSETZ pin in your heavier starting weight, higher up the stack.
- 3 Train to muscle failure. Then lower the stack calmly to the rest position.
- 4 The pin ejects itself. Grab the handle again and keep training with the lighter weight.

The right tempo
Train with constant tension on the muscle. Explosive or bouncing movements can make the pin eject too early.
Tip: does the pin pop out too early? Slow down your eccentric phase and don't let the stack touch down between reps.
Pin won't eject?
This usually happens when the stack is set down too gently. Here's how to fix it:
